Authorities in Canton, Ohio have arrested Rashaan Cuffee, 20, and  Justice Chance, 20, after their 2 year old toddler somehow became stuck in a toilet while left alone in the family’s home.

On Thursday, neighbors at Kingston Drive Southeast in Canton reported hearing a child crying for more than 30 minutes and contacted police.

Property management and police entered the apartment as the 20-month-old boy was found stuck in a toilet.  According to police the child was home alone without supervision. The boy was freed from the toilet by officers and Child Protective Services was notified.

Officers located three marijuana plants inside the home.

The child’s mother, Justice Chance was finally seen two hours later entering the apartment complex carrying Walmart bags.  Investigators believe the child was left alone while she went shopping at Walmart.

Chance, apparently suffering from short term memory loss, told authorities that her sister was supposed to be watching the child but she could not provide police her sister’s name, according to The Independent.

Chance and the boy’s father, Rashaan Cuffee, were each charged with marijuana cultivation and child endangerment.
