When Gabi was four years old she began to feed the local crows. It all started because she used to drop food by accident while playing outside. As soon as she did, a crow would quickly swoop in and grab it. It wasn’t long before the crows figured out that if Gabi was around so would food. They even began following her to school and she would share her bagged lunch with them on the way.
They even started waiting for her to get off the bus after school. Later she started to leave dog food and peanuts out for them.
The crows would also leave small trinkets they found. Ranging from shiny rocks and bolts to zippers and buttons. Basically anything a crow would consider valuable.
She likes to arrange them from favorite to least and keep them in a drawer.
It makes you wonder what would happen if she only gave them food for shiny coins.
